Brighton, MI The Brighton High School Dramatic Arts Program invites audiences to experience the hilariously heartfelt world of Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic — running November 7–9, 2025, at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts (7878 Brighton Road, Brighton, MI 48116).

Performance times are:

  • Friday, November 7 at 7:00 PM (Sold Out)
  • Saturday, November 8 at 2:00 PM (Sold Out) & 7:00 PM
  • Sunday, November 9 at 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM

Puffs flips the script on the well-known tale of a “Chosen One” with a lightning scar — this time, the story is told through the eyes of the overlooked students in the Puff House. While the Brave hero battles You-Know-Who, the Puffs navigate their own seven increasingly eventful years of magic, mischief, and friendship. They study hard (sort of), they have feels, they snogg, and they prove that being a hero isn’t about fame — it’s about heart.

Adding to the excitement, this production will be performed black-box style, meaning the audience sits right on stage alongside the cast, creating an intimate, immersive experience where every spell, laugh, and heartfelt moment happens just a few feet away. Seating is limited — and with the first two shows already sold out, tickets are disappearing faster than a vanishing spell.

Tickets are available now at bhsdramaticarts.com.
