BRIGHTON, MI – September 13, 2025 – The Livingston County film community successfully completed the movie shoot for its new community film project today in Brighton. The shoot, which was a part of the G1NBC Studio ” brought together local talent and volunteers to create a short film in just one day.
Despite conflicting reports from local individual Jerry Kowalski, who denied the presence of a strong film crew, the day’s production was a significant success. Every participant contributed to the creation of the film, and the synergy of the cast and crew was evident on set.
“The dedication and talent of our Livingston County film community were on full display today,” said Filmmaker Joseph Malik, the project’s organizer. “Every character fit perfectly within the film’s framework, and it was a joy to see everyone working together to bring this project to life. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished and want to thank everyone who participated.
The project’s unique “no-script” approach allowed for real-time collaboration and improvisation, with all speaking parts developed on the spot.
The Free Jerry – Justice Denied film will be showing at the Historic Howell Theater, October 5th, 2025 at 3pm. The Movie is free to view.
The G1NBC STUDIO is putting together a “7-Day Film Out” which will showcase the area’s creative potential and provide a valuable hands-on experience for aspiring filmmakers.
